Surgical reconstruction of defects of the face after surgical excision of malignancies is a complex and unsolved problem yet. Decision-making is based on a lot of factors,
such as treatment methods, defect localization and size, variety of missing tissue, patient preferences. Different reconstruction methods, and sometimes repeated surgery may
be used to achieve the best results in reconstruction of form and function of the facial region. |
