Rezumat | ||||||
Studies in vitro demonstrate that benzil-alcoholic solution of juglone poses a pronounced antibacterial activity against gram-positive (Staphilococcus aureus (Wood-209), Streptococcus faecalis)and gram-negative (Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus vulgaris) microorganisms and antifungal properties against Candida albicans, Aspergillus niger, Aspergillus fumigatus, Penicillium, 2-4 times more intensive than standard benzyl-alcoholic solution. The drug „in vivo” leads to early elimination of inflamatory and necrotic proceses caused by staphylococcus and fungi. The efficacy of benzyl alchhoholic solution of juglone is determined in the most part by of presence of haftoqiuinonic derivate. |
