Rezumat

The aim of the study was to evaluate the particularities of the evolution and perinatal outcomes of pregnancies associated with uterine myoma. The study population included 70 pregnant women diagnosed with uterine myomas during pregnancy and 50 pregnant women without myoma that delivered in the Clinical Hospital nr. 1. Our results demonstrated that the pregnancy associated with uterine myoma is a pregnancy of a high risk for development of multiple possible complications, the most common being the imminence of spontaneous abortion – 34,2%, imminence of premature delivery - 31,4%, foetal malpositions – 11,4%. The presence of uterine myoma during pregnancy increases the risk of development of foeto-placental inssuficiency and abruptio placentae. The analysis of perinatal outcomes of pregnancies associated with uterine myoma showed that 2,7% of newborns were of first degree of prematurity, 5,7% - second degree of prematurity and 2,7% - third degree of prematurity. The intrauterine growth restriction was diagnosed in 14,35 cases.
