Scientometric analysis based on the time distribution of number of scientific papers published by Moldavian scientists in the most prestigious international scientifiс journals as well as on an
amount of citations of these papers has been carried out for the time slice 1972 – 2010. The obtained statistical data and their analysis unambiguously showed the unprecedented growth of contribution of
Moldavian scientists on a world-wide information process after 2004. This phenomenon is related with new type of science administration due to enactment of “Science Code” and intensification of international
scientific cooperation. |
