During the last years its more and more is emphasized the problem connected to structure, size and territorial placement of different localities. Due to the intense spatial development and to the changes affecting different economic fields, it appears the necessity to deeply analyze the relationships among environment, structure, size and localities placement. Territorial planning supposes the efficient valorification of natural and economic potential, the development of the system of settlements, the rational distribution of industrial enterprises and social and cultural endowments. The spatial evolution of Chisinau city is the result of the locality continuous development, of new functions gradual appearance and of the current ones development.
