The process of retirement is often associated with undesirable health effects as a result of its positive and negative implications; it is a matter of great importance to the social policies of each state. Compared with someone of the same profession in urban, rural closure is not suddenly but gradually, both for the farm worker and for the intellectual. While the ancient civilizations appreciated and used the wisdom of older people, the modern society look with distrust to their usefulness. A culture of youth and adolescence is developing, where the older people find increasingly difficult place. In conclusion note that modern society generates old age, but tends to reject and isolate. |
