Rezumat

This article explains the notion of the university education, the importance of the university education in the life of the intellectual society, which is in the process of development. The investigation is based on more sources. One and the most important point is the concept of constructivism, the origin of this concept, the main authors and their works, which refer to this concept. The investigation of this theme, help us to eliminate such questions as: What kind of constructivism is the basic to the university education? Why should the university education be based on the strategies, the methods, the stages of the constructivism? How does the constructivism help us to create an effective system of teaching, learning and evaluation? Which are the most important points? In the research is investigated the central role of the learner, the role of the teacher in the university education, which is based on the constructivism.
