Articolul este dedicat trecerii în limba rusă a sunetului accentuat /Э/ în /O/ după consoanele moi înaintea consoanelor dure. Se analizează evoluţia procesului şi reflectarea acestuia în poezia clasică şi modernă. Autoarea propune norme şi variante în pronunţia cuvintelor în concordanţă cu cele mai noi recomandări ale dicţionarelor actuale.

The following article considers the shift of the sound /Э/ into /O/ in the Russian language, when it occurs in a stressed syllable between soft and hard consonants correspondingly. In the research the author examines the history of this process and the reflection of its results in classical and modern poetry. The standards and versions of pronunciation are presented by the author in accordance with the recommendations of the most authoritative dictionaries.
