The beginning of the 21st century is marked by an aggravation of some global problems among which the problem of preservation of the environment occupies the central place. A significant role in the solution of environmental problems
belongs to the United Nations and the European Union. In this article, the main directions of the EU policy on environmental issues are presented, the stages of environmental policy are highlighted and characterized. |
