In Joint Operational Programme Romania - Ukraine - Moldova 2007-2013, EU-funded program, was developed the “Cross-border initiative for developing playful topiary art for education and leisure (TopArt)”. The partner in this project are the Botanical Garden “Anastasie Fatu” the University “Al. I.Cuza”, Iasi, Romania and Botanical Garden (Institute) of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova. This project aims to improve cooperation between the two botanical gardens on both sides of the Prut River in order to increase their capacity to provide cultural, educational and relaxation to the fi nal benefi ciaries: young children, the elderly and increasing public awareness on cross-border cooperation between Romania and Moldova, through this program in order to fi nd solutions for common problems series and/or similar. Visitors will be able to spend time in a space with natural light and lovely shapes, anthropomorphic and zoomorphic, very suitable for organizing educational activities profi le, culture and relaxation: shows, competitions, television broadcasting, etc.
