The diagnosis and treatment of the radicular cysts During the period of time 01.06.2011-01.02.2012 in the department of maxillo-facial surgery were examined and treated 1143 patients. 58 patients were diagnosed with odontogenic cysts, which represent aproximately 5,07% from all hospitalized patients. The periapical radicular cysts represent nearly 77,6% of cases, the residual cysts – 12,07% and the lateral radicular cysts only 1,72%. The other 8,62% were represented by cysts of other origin.

În perioada de timp 01.06.2011-01.02.2012, în Secţia Chirurgie OMF din cadrul IMSP CNŞPMU, au fost spitalizaţi şi trataţi 1143 de bolnavi. Dintre aceştia, 58 de pacienţi au fost diagnosticaţi cu chisturi odontogene, ceea ce constituie aproximativ 5,07% din numărul total de bolnavi spitalizaţi. Chisturile radiculare periapicale constituie circa 77,6% din numărul total de chisturi odontogene, fiind urmate de chisturile reziduale cu 12,07% , iar chisturile radiculare laterale reprezintă doar 1,72%. Restul procentelor ( circa 8,62% ) sunt reprezentate de chisturi odontogene de altă origine.
