Currently, industrial property objects become the driving force of economic growth, which determines the competitiveness of a national economy. With the transition to the new economic relations, industrial property objects often appear on the market without the necessary legal protection. The problems of legal regulation of relations related to the legal protection and use of industrial property objects in Republic of Moldova involve special investigations and further improvement of the applicable legislation. This article makes in scientific terms a comprehensive legal-criminal analysis of the alternative mode of manifestation of an offense by falsification of a protected invention, which is an infringement of the exclusive right of the owner in industrial property objects, it also describes the cases of counterfeiting, the forms counterfeiting can take by falsification and the damages that may occur as a result of counterfeiting of industrial property objects.
