Rezumat

Influence of parenting behaviors on schizophrenia symptoms Family education is one of the most influent factors in human personality development, which means the impact of it in psychopathological development of the person. 104 families (from rural and urban residence) that had as a member schizophrenic patient were studied. The PANSS and PARQ questionnaires were used, and the obtained data were analyzed using SPSS for Windows. The results show that parenting style has an evident influence for the behavioural patterns, especially for negative symptoms development and the differences between rural and urban patients and the patient’s gender (that appears in a different correlation levels)
