Communication according to the professional profile
and age groups of the physicians
There have been elaborated a descriptive survey. To accumulate the primary data there have been processed two questionnaires. The investigated doctors, in number of 50 persons, are divided into two groups: a group of doctors with therapeutic specialization, who activate in PMSI Riscani Hospital, implying 14 persons within the age of 26-40 and 10 persons within the age of 40-62; the second group consists of 25 doctors with surgical specialization who work in PMSI Riscani Hospital implying 13 persons within the age of 28-40 and 12 persons within the age of 40-56.
The third group is formed by the interviewed nurses in number of 46 persons from the same PMSI consisting of 38 women within the age of 25-52 and 8 men within the age of 26-30. The material was processed by the program ANOVA. When assessing the „attitude” of the doctors towards their patients there were achieved the following results: the doctors with a therapeutically specialization, especially the ones from the first group (26-40 years) manifest a more open attitude (27,64±1,32%) toward their patients in comparison with the surgeons from the group of age (24,64±1,09%). In the second group of age (41-62 years) the indicators are
practically the same for therapeutically and surgical groups of doctors (25,93±1,49% and26,39±1,50%) (p>0.05).
As a result of the interaction of two variables group-age it was established that the attitude of internists from the second age group toward their patients is modified by the professional experience in comparison with the internist from the first age group. |
