Human resources in the private medical sector in the Republic of Moldova
The article describes the results of the evaluation of the human resources in the private medical sector and the impact upon insuring the presence of resources in the public health system. The obtained results show that the private medical sector is not able to cause massive fluctuations because it mostly attracts doctors and medical assistants with experience and professional achievements, so that young professionals are unlikely to be hired in this sector after graduating. Thus, the loss of human resources is caused by their movement to other available jobs in other areas (pharmaceutical companies, services or trade) and their migration abroad, where most of the time they don't work according to their qualifications. In time, they become irretrievable for the national health system due to their loss of professional skills. |
