Rezumat

Early, medium and late inbred S4–16 lines of Salvia sclarea L. species derived from varieties Moldovenesc–69 (M–69), Voznesenski–24 (V–24), Crâmschii pozdnii (Cr.p.), Crâmschii rannii (S–1122), Ambra Plus (AP), Nataly Clary (NC) have been developed. Have been selected inbred lines which shown total flowering (100%), these being excellent donor genes for the development of hybrids, varieties that would ensure high yield of raw material and essential oil of the first year of vegetation. It was selected inbred lines with high content (1.145–1.995%) of essential oil and different blooming period, which will be used as parental forms in hybridization schemes. Hybrids of different complexity were created: simple, trilinear, double, backcross hybrids, using in the hybridization schemes inbred lines of different geographical origin, hybrids and approved varieties. The early –, mid–and late –repening Salvia sclarea L. varieties Ambriela, Ambra Plus, Balsam, Parfum Perfect, Dacia 99, Victor, Nataly Clary are very resistant to drought; they accumulate in dry years high content (1.115–1.858%) essential oil, provide a production of 20.8–24.5 t/ha of inflorescences in two years of plantation exploitation and guarantee yields of 41.1–77.4 kg/ha of essential oil depending on the variety. The efficiency of Salvia sclarea L. varieties ranges between între 3.2 and 4.6 kg per ton. Varieties of Salvia sclarea L. Ambriela, Parfum Perfect provide a production of 24.1–24.5 t/ha of inflorescences in two years of plantation exploitation (2021–2022) and guarantee yields of 86.1–107.4 kg/ha of essential.
