There is a wide spectrum of tubal diseases ranging from peritubal adhesions, damaged fimbria or distorted fallopian tubes to tubal occlusion or hydrosalpinx. Tubal-peritoneal pathology is the result of pelvic infection, endometriosis or previous pelvic surgery. There are several methods of diagnosing tubal infertility including laparoscopy, which is the considered the "gold standard". The decision on the treatment method of patients with tubal infertility involves surgical, medical, emotional and economic factors. An assessment of the tubal mucosa damage degree is essential for determining prognosis fertility rate for tubal surgery. |
