Education has an essential, universal, and eternal function of society. There is no society without education. Education is an aspect of social practice and is closely related to work, to the production of material and spiritual goods, which are defining features of man. Through work an individual or a human group creates the material and spiritual goods necessary for their existence. Thus, since man and work appeared on Earth, education also appeared. If work is a permanent social category, means that education also has a permanent character. Just as there can be no society without work, so there can be no society without education. Education does not propose external goals to the human being, but pursues its full realization, its full development along the lines of native dispositions, along the lines of society's requirements. Moreover, education challenges the individual to develop himself, through his own effort. |
