The multiannual study of weather conditions with reference to grapevine culture is extremely important in the context of current climate change. Vine culture is sensitive to climate change, which can affect the quality and quantity of grape production. Due to climate change, extreme weather events such as droughts, heavy rains, storms and extreme temperatures can occur, which can affect the vines. For example, prolonged drought can reduce the amount of water available to plants and affect the quality and quantity of grape production. On the other hand, heavy rains can affect the quality and ripeness of grapes, as well as excessive plant growth. In addition, extreme temperatures can affect plant development, especially during grape growth and ripening. For example, high temperatures during the ripening period can reduce the quality and taste of the grapes, while low temperatures can cause the grapes to freeze. Therefore, it is important to carry out a multiannual study of weather conditions to understand how climate change affects grapevine culture and to develop strategies to cope with these changes. These strategies may include adapting to climate change by selecting grape varieties that are more resistant to high or low temperatures, using efficient irrigation techniques, or improving the soil to cope with drought or heavy rains, etc. In conclusion, the multiannual study of weather conditions is essential to understand how climate change affects grapevine culture and to develop adaptation strategies. These strategies are important to ensure quality grape production and to protect the wine sector against the negative effects of climate change. |
