Contemporary international terrorism seriously destabilizes the situation not only in individual countries and regions, but in the whole world. In these circumstances the international community strengthens the actions against terrorism as a socio-political phenomenon. Do not remain aloof from the development of international legal instruments of combating terrorism and international terrorism and the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). They advocate that, under the auspices of the UN and on the solid foundation of international law by the international community was formed and implemented a global strategy of counteraction to new challenges and threats. In the broader socio-economic context, the cooperation of the CIS countries narrows the possibility of international terrorism in the post-soviet space. The efficient organization of cooperation in combating international terrorism is a priority in the agenda of the Commonwealth.
