The article focuses on theory-practice aspects of political management in the Republic of Moldova. The author considers that political management represents one side of the management and administration relationship that allows solving such issues, as image of a state and political leader, creation of a favorable conditions for the activity of a state institution or a political party, formation of electoral preferences of the population, formation of the alliances or political blocks, etc. The political leadership of the Republic of Moldova is the only body that establishes the approaches and solutions of a problem that the state community faces, and that is based on the political program accepted by the population and confirmed through the voting. Nowadays a new type of political management imposes itself: it is based on modern scientific principles, conducted by professionals, elected by people’s vote and independent from the will of certain groups of interests. Only in this way the Republic of Moldova would be able to move toward progress and democracy.
