There are principal problems being researched in this article that are describing the role of political regime of Republic of Moldova in organization and efficient functioning of state powers. During scientifically investigations the author of the article has exercised an investigation that demonstrates the role of the political regime in democratic development of society. Analyze is effectuate from two points of view: political and juridical. In the same, the author utilizes the retrospective method. The political process of setting up democratic regimes has its specific features, both positive and negatives. It is typical for the Republic of Moldova the change of priorities during the process of setting up the political democratic regime. He wants to demonstrate that the actual situation is not optimal. The majority of authors describes Moldavian political regime like a parliamentarian. But the situation is not simple, because the comportment of political elites is not adequate with Constitution. The author proposes some recommendations to optimization political process in Republic of Moldova. He considers that the optimal type of political regime is parliamentarian.
