Rezumat | ||||||
Teaching grammar is a fundamental aspect of language acquisition, along with teaching vocabulary, pronunciation and discourse. The main disadvantage of teaching grammar is that when it is being taught out of context it becomes boring and unstimulating for students. The present paper aims at finding ways to blend teaching grammar and literature together, in order to present the grammar rules and forms in a more natural way, thus, they are easier perceived and understood by the students. This is a study that provides a different insight into the process of teaching grammar by integrating grammatical forms into context. The importance and originality of this study are that it offers specific strategies and activities of teaching grammar through literature, taking into account students’ proficiency and the literary genre taught. |
