The real problems, to witch we confront in our days – terrorism, aggressive separatism, organized crime, human trafficking, corruption, contraband – represent a threats to the democracy in our country and can be solved only with common efforts. In the European framework the extensions process is the adequate response to the new challenges and its results depending of the collaborations capacity of the Europeans states. In 2007 Republic of Moldova became a neighbor of the European Union countries and this will have substantial impact to the stability and security in the region. For efficient collaboration on the regional and international levels the Republic of Moldova has to realize the military reform, to elaborate the concept of national strategy, which will guarantee the protection of the independence, sovereignty and integrity of the state. The military reform in Moldova include the modernization and reformation of the defense sector according to the modern standards and contain concrete tasks of all structures of the security sectors till 2014. Participation in the “Partnership for Peace” program and realization of the Individual Partnership Action Plan Republic of Moldova – NATO (IPAP) will deepen the relationship with NATO and represent a big opportunity to join the international effort for establishing international security system in Euro-Atlantic area and to create a stabile world.
