The topicality of the research is connected with the fact that migration is a multifaceted and complex global issue, with which today touches every country
in the world. For obvious reasons, the process of globalization has become the one of the central issue in the studying of the world migration flows. This article analyses the influence of globalization on the methodological basis of investigation of migration from the sociological perspective. The baffling complexity of contemporary migration flows have caused the necessity of new theoretical concepts in this scientific area. Global migrations are considered in all their bearings, but there are some gaps in scientific literature. Thus, the author of the article systematize theoretical approaches to the research of the concept of the global migration and investigate such methodological approaches as the transnational migration theory, the international migration systems approach thoroughly. Analyzing the numerous migration researches of famous Russian and foreign sociologists devoted to the consideration of global migration, the author comes to the conclusion that unfortunately the theories available are not sufficient to clear up the problem and to give a precise representation of all the trends of the migration in modern world and does not allow creating sociological fundamentals of the concepttion of effective migration strategy. |
