This article exposes the acts of political manipulation in the Eastern regions of the Republic of Moldova. Their influence on the solution process of the transnistrian conflict is great and negative by nature. The manipulation with public opinion is realized through different methods. The transnistrian authorities spread the information according to their interests, they use the scientific publications to argue the existence of the “transnistrian nation”, and they make young people and youth organizations to support them. That’s why they succeeded in changing the psychological climate in Transnistria. In fact, many people believe in a happy future of the self-proclaimed republic, even they are citizens of the Republic of Moldova. The consequences of the political manipulation should be a warning for the Moldovan political actors; they should stop this process in the proper sense of the word.
