Globalization as a qualitative new phase of development of international
system and world economy (rapid economic growth; global market of goods, services, capital) is one of the most discussed questions in contemporary
world; it became very popular not only in international relations but also in
historical, political, socio-economical, ecological and technical sciences. The
XXI century is a period of global challenges and responses for human civilization.
The role of global problems in the process of the formation of new
way of thinking is very important, particularly in the context of intensification
consequences of globalization in the world and Republic of Moldova is
not exception. New political thinking stands for a process in which we ought
to recognize each other humanity as we move to solve complex problems dealing
with social and political life, economies and global relations.
The article analyzes the changes in the political thinking and examines
the impact of globalization on the internal development, national interest,
and foreign policy. Now, when our country are in the transitional period (rebuilding
the state, fostering democracy) which include such difficulties as attracting
foreign investment, inflation, unemployment, influence of global process
play special role for the future of its population both for a short-term
and long-term perspectives. New way of thinking, based on the moral imperative,
ideology of humanism and spiritual country is a real alternative to negative
consequences of globalization. Contemporary issues present a greater
challenge to the global interdependence system, and demand cooperation
among societies and political actors around the world. |
