Rezumat

The goal of the article was to evaluate women satisfaction with the medical care received during the pregnancy, delivery and postnatal period. In the 2008 study, there have been interviewed 4046 women, the answers of which has been compared to those of the women included in a similar study, using the same questionnaire, carried out in 2001. The vast majority of the women were satisfied with the received care during the pregnancy, as well as during the delivery. The most common fears they expressed were: the fear of losing the pregnancy, to deliver, and labor pain. Most women in both studies have felt respected and welcome; the number routinely and professionally, but coldly treated women has twice decreased, compared to the 2001 year. 84,8% of women have stated that they were satisfied with the room they stayed in after the delivery.
