This article presents the authors' visions referring to the concept of will as a superior form of self-regulation as well as its role in overcoming crises, affairs that overwhelm the possibilities of self-regulation and trigger concern, overwhelming feelings of helplessness, anxiety, vulnerability and stress. Regardless of the complexity of the events that generate the crises, the psychological mechanisms disturbed by traumatic experiences are those that regulate emotions, regulate the purposes and will, cognitive mechanisms - those involved in the processing of the information from the internal and external environment of the person. From the perspective of contemporary societal approaches, the whole process of will development depends on the daily situations, on the nature and character of the tasks required to be performed, on the individual peculiarities of the students. |
