Under conditions of market economy the role of payment transactions increases because, on the one hand they are the finat stage of any business, in manycases determining the financial standing of an enterprise, on the other hand promptitude in paying ansures trust of suppliers, banks and other counterparts , lack of customs penalty, loan repayment and so on. Analysing the arrangement of dearing settlements,we can determine that they ensure promptitude in paying or suppliers fulfillment of obligations, but other transactions do not guarantec this. I n order to develop a business, economic units shouid understand and take into consideration all the advantages and axpenses of this or,that type of, payment transaction. T hey should choose methods of payment according to the specificity of transaction in order to ensure fast,reliable and aconomical executions of payment transactions.
