The novel „Notre-Dame” encourages the belief that the simple re-reading of life completely surpasses fi ction. The questions you formulate or are for mulated to you throughout your life never have a single answer, and our habit of dividing our deeds into good and bad seems to be wrong. It hap pens quite frequently that love and crime have the same heart, and trying to make a choice can end up killing both. |
