The actuality of the theme starts from the fact that, almost a decade, the virtual currency born curiosities and interest as increased as their number increases and transactions they record an upward trend. There are opinions so contradictory that anyone can be confused: from the fact that some consider to be the coins of the future, to the extent that it works according to the principles of the pyramids financial. The purpose of the study lies in the context of several questions: who watches them and who defends the interests of the users of virtual currencies.Methods have been used to study: the historical method, analysis and synthesis. The results of the research are presented in the conclusions presented.
