Peculiarities of pregnancy evolution in pregnant women with genital herpes
The evolution of the viral herpes infection in pregnant women has lately been
characterized by a considerable increase of the disease with chronic evolution, with an abortive
clinical picture in which the existing symptoms do not reflect the severity of the morphalogical
disturbances in organs [1,3,14]. The results of this study have revealed increase of incidence of
the pregnant women who had genital herpes during pregnancy from 2,2% (2004) to 14,2%
(2008). Herpes infection occurs fregvently in first time pregnant women aged 21-30, unmarried,
from the rural areas. The most freguent clinical form is the asymptomaric one, therefore the first
time pregnant women with the pathology deficiency and retardation of the intrauterine
development with complicated obstetric anamnesis with spontaneons abortions and delayed
pregnancy are recommended to do RPL, IgM and IgG, to test herpes infection. It is
recommended to administer antiviral treatment in II trimester of pregnancy in pregnant women
with primary and reactivated genital herpes. |
