The article focuses on interpreting the work of art from the perspective of literary criticism texts. Considering the diversity of functions that the literary criticism text can fulfill, the teacher can build a series of didactic approaches, focused on the following types of critical texts: a) informative; b) formative; c) modeling; d) cognitive; e) incentives; f) advertising. These texts can give students the opportunity to compare and formulate conclusions, to research and discover, to argue their opinions.
