Orientation of the Republic of Moldova towards the European integration means the marathon start, where estimation of the degree of conformity of the Moldavian mass media to requirements of the European Union “to a freedom of speech and mass media” acts as one of the overcoming difficulties. Prolongation of the European Union - Republic of Moldova Action Plan shows the fact that EU perceives the given process as non-realized, this concerns aforementioned area. Initial expectations have appeared overestimated, but with a view of maintenance of freedom speech and mass media, the Moldavian authorities will bring our legislative base under the European standards and realize in practice the requirement of EU in this field.

Ориентация Республики Молдова в сторону европейской интеграции, символизирует марафонский старт, одним из трудных преодолений которого выступает оценка степени соответствия молдавских СМИ требованиям Европейского Союза по вопросу о «свободе слова и средствах массовой информации». Продление Плана Действий РМ-ЕС демонстрирует тот факт, что ЕС воспринимает данный процесс как нереализованный, это также относится к вышеупомянутой области. Первоначальные ожидания оказались переоцененными, но в целях обеспечения свободы слова и средств массовой информации молдавские власти будут подводить нормативную базу под европейские стандарты и реализовать на практике требования ЕС в данной области.
