In this article are shown statistics date about the influence of the accelerate aging process on the different sorts of the common wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). This test – accelerated aging of seeds was mode at the 42°C air temperature, 90 – 100 % relative air humidity, 72 hours aging period. It was determined the following morphophysiological parameters of the seeds and seeding: germination power and seed germination, length ofseedling rootles, fresh and dry root biomass, electric conductivity. The tested accessions have shown significant differences on all studied parameters. As a result of the comparative analysis were identified five types of the common wheat, which have shown the high resistance towards abiotic stress: Moldova 5, Moldova 77, Moldova 614, Moldova 789, Pissanca. Thus, it was established that the method of accelerated aging of common wheat collection samples can be used to predict the ability of seeds to be stored for a long-term in a plant genetic bank. |
