The theme of European integration becomes more and more popular, especially the European integration of new territories from the geographical European space. That is why it is remarkable the fact that the idea of European reunion is a phenomenon with a separate history with a big amount of events. There is information on the development of European integration dating from II millennium BC. Since then and up to the Fall of the Roman Empire took place some remarkable events which, by their development put the philosophical basis of the idea of European territories reunion and introduced the geographical notion of “ Europe. The analysis of the origin of the notion of “ Europe”, the attribution to this notion of a certain geographical territory, the development of events in the spirit of European integration make this article even more to emphasize the importance of events that take place nowadays in the sphere of international politics- the idea of European integration of the nations of the European territory.

Тематика европейской интеграции становится все более и более популярной, в особенности это относится к европейской интеграции новых территорий в европейское географическое пространство. По этому, следует так же отметить, что идея европейской интеграции имеет отдельную историю, которая очень богата событиями. Данные о развитии европейской интеграции датируют уже с II тысячелетия до н.э., с тех пор и до падения Римской Империи имели место ряд знаменательных событий, которые своим развитием способствовали становлению философской основы идеи об интеграции европейских территорий и ввели географическое понятие «Европа».
