Rezumat

The article is dedicated to the delegation exchanges between border districts of the MSSR and border counties of the SRR during the mid-sixties – late eighties, a period during which the CPSU and CPM organized a large propagandistic cam-paign against N. Ceausescu’s „special course”. In the period which we studied, the inter-party cooperation of the MSSR and the SRR was a priority of the CPSU and CPM, which hoped to change the mentality and the SRR citizen’s opinion regarding the political line of the RCP. Despite the CPM propaganda artifices, the visits of delegations from the two Prut shores didn’t have the expected results. More than that, since the late se-venties these exchanges were faced with a rebound. The SRR county party co-mmittees, mimicking „cooperation and friendship relations” with neighboring districts of the MSSR, sabotaged certain CPM initiatives like the participation of party delegations from neighboring counties of Romania in festivities in neighboring districts of the MSSR dedicated to the „reunification of Bessarabia with the USSR” or to the creation of the MSSR. Also, it didn’t follow up on initi-atives regarding lecturers or propagandists exchange or developing direct rela-tions between factories’ working collectives.
