Education reform which started in Moldova in the 90's should be adapted to local realities and social needs, including the scrutiny of the school's positive experience in this region over the years. School management experience from the interwar period could serve as a model worthy of study. After the political unification of 1918 of Romanian provinces takes place and the integration of schools from Bessarabia in the Romanian education system. This action involved the decentralization of the Ministry of Education. The educational management scheme had been strictly outlined by the establishment of management and control structures. It established the state's role in the overall management of education: organization, direction and control of education. Periphery school leadership acquired new professional responsibilities and decisional powers in matters of local importance. All school leadership factors, including teachers, acquire the status of civil servants, which raises the prestige and the importance of those working in education. It’s established a whole new system of education, training and motivation of teachers which aimed at the teacher to become a reliable pillar within the building state process. |
