The process of elaboration of the coats of arms and the fl ags of academicals institutes
was opened by the disposition of the President
of Moldova Academy of Sciences nr. 1-194
from 29 June 2007. The Institute of Cultural
Heritage is the first in this movement. His
Symbols, created by the author and the architect Sergius Ciocanu, were approved by the
Scientific Council of Institute on October 19
and by National Committee for Heraldry on
the 9th
of November 2007. The principal emblem of coat of arms and of flag of nstitute of
Cultural Heritage is the image of Greek god
Apollo – the patron of arts, ciences, knowledge, divine inspiration and the symbol of light. |
