The restorative justice involves beside the victim and the perpetrator, as key actors, the community, which could have the important role in the process of the victim’s rehabilitation and the social reintegration of the offender. In the context of restorative justice: the crime threatens the person, violating social relations of any kind; violation generates obligations, responsibilities; justice involves the victim, the offender, community members and reparation; key issues concern the needs of the victim, the responsibility of the offender, the reparation of the damage. American researchers Howard Zehr, L. Stutzman, A. MacRae, K. Pranis tried to disprove certain myths about restorative justice through the book "The Big Book of Restorative Justice", analyzing the principles of its basis much more deeply and multilaterally. |
