Intercultural competence is one of the components of communicative competence. It should be considered as a component of this ability to solve problems that arise in the intercultural communication process due to the culture’s differences. Not only learner’s background experiences in learning and communication, but also special interrelated Culture and Language Learning/Teaching enrich their intercultural competence. Sociolinguistic competence and discourse competence are also parts of intercultural competence.
