Popular architecture is a great and valuable chapter in the legacy of our nation. Examined as a genre in its own right, it represents an artistic and historical phenomenon based on the millennial practice of living and housekeeping of our people. Today, however, these traditions are on the verge of extinction, they risk being erased from the history of the nation, ruined and disappearing from the traditional landscape of our villages. Thus, in front of today's society, specialists in the field of architecture, construction, restoration appears a very important task - to save, capitalize and restore the monuments of traditional architecture, to preserve and pass on to future generations tabs of the cultural heritage of our nation. |
