Rezumat

The professional training of specialists in the field of foreign languages covers three aspects: linguistic, literary and linguacultural (the culture and civilization related to the country of the studied language).The literature related tothe studied language helps, on the one hand, in a better understanding of the peoples and countries of the studied language, and on the other hand, in enriching the vocabulary and in a better understanding of when and how to most adequately use certain structures of the studied language.Due to this, the study of the literature related tothe studied foreign language does not only contribute to the development of thinking in the respective language due to the study of the sociocultural aspect of the life of peoples and countries of the studied language.It also contributes to the perception of the material in all taught disciplines related to the studied language as a whole, thus playing an integrating role.From this point of view, the article addresses the issue of the role of artistic literature related to a studied foreign language in language teaching.
