This article highlights the importance of an effective education system as a basis for the well-being of society and its individual citizens, as namely education is a more ancient, deep, vast area of existence than politics and economics. The content of education is one of the factors of economic and social progress of society and should be oriented towards the self-determination of the individual and the creation of conditions for his or her self-fulfilment. The management of an educational institution in modern conditions is a scientifically based activity of the administration and pedagogues.It is a complex process involving the right choice of goals and objectives, the study and analysis of the achieved level of educational work, a system of rational planning and the organization of the activities of both student and teaching groups, choosing the best ways to improve education and training, as well as effective control.
