The interval of the XV-XIX centuries is marked by the Renaissance, the Protestant Reformation (which promoted critical awareness of religion and the church), the Great Geographical Discoveries, the rise of capitalism, the emergence of the press, the English Civil War, the Atlantic Revolutions, the formation of the United States (1776) and Canada (1867). The revolutionary transformation of the systems of government and state structures of from the 18 th century, under the motto of freedom, equality, fraternity, it acquired an overwhelming force, leading to the development of new visions to reform the world, the community, the state, the position and relations of man in a free, egalitarian society.
