The article deals with the problems of extradition of the informant of the World Anti-doping agency G. Rodchenkov. The relevance of the topic of this scientific article is due to the fact that Russian law enforcement agencies can not implement the process of issuing an informant from the United States, so there is a need to study the circumstances that prevent extradition. The extradition process is hindered by such circumstances as the absence of a bilateral extradition agreement between the Russian Federation and the United States, and the American side's concerns about the security of the city. Rodchenkov on the territory of the Russian Federation, the informant receiving asylum in the United States, as well as the political nature of the actions committed. The article examines approaches to extradition issues, as well as to cases in which extradition is not carried out, in accordance with international treaties and national legislation of States.
