The article reviews contemporary problems of qualified athletes’ technical and tactical qualification improving basing on their results in the official international competitions. It is shown that a complex of factors stipulates lower indicators of qualified athletes competitive activity: low competition level in teams, players’ noncompliance to a particular role model requirements, and lack of an appropriate level competitive practice (official, national and international competitions). The authors noted that the structure of the qualified and highly qualified players qualification is significantly affected by factors of high performance sport globalization - the training unification and integration in national federations, migration and concentration of perspective and highly qualified players into the world's best training centers. The main problems and solutions were summarized with the help of the most authoritative Ukrainian experts and post-processing of the received data (basing on sport games).
