Rezumat

The new principles accepted by the Republic of Moldova on the basis of international treaties have generated favorable conditions for the inventors to gain protection, as well as some difficulties concerning the insurance of this protection. Considering the fact that granting of protection is only possible on the grounds of a written request made by the right-holder, not ex-officio and, only through the services of various intermediaries, which is ultimately considered a waste of time and money. Thus, it is barely possible for inventors to effectively insure their rights to protection. However, it is essential that these persons are granted the rights for effective protection at least on the basis of existing regulations. In order to insure an efficient protection, the established procedure is to be followed exactly according to the regulation. Even if some aberrations may be considered non-essential, these can cause the patent to be rejected. The purpose of this synopsis is to provide guidance to inventors associated in different groups that would make them capable to protect their rights, as well as giving an impulse to the manufacturers to cooperate with inventors that would make them highly competitive.
