Environmental protection became today one of the global problems of mankind, including the Republic of Moldova. Wind-power is deemed to be the most accessible and long-term by the volume of resources, ecological purity and geographical area. Following the examination of development of the patenting process of technical solutions in the countries with advanced economy, it was stated the tendency of development in the production of wind-electric plants and wind-power stations, utilization of wind-power by converting it into mechanical, thermal and electric energy. Dependence of the Republic of Moldova on the organic fuel and imported electric power as well as increase in prices to power sources bring attention of the research institutions and economic agents to this basic problem, namely utilization of certain unusual power sources.
